Announcement    SPRING is Coming... ENJOY 10% off. Brizel Fiber Arts is currently merging inventory from my handcrafts store and will be undergoing a re-organization of marketing materials this year. Thanks for your patience as I grow this shop. xo

Brizel Fiber Arts has an extensive collection of handwoven sashes from Guatemala. Over 70 color designs, these sashes are hand loomed vintage / new old stock cotton fabrics reclaimed from Las Manos, a fair trade business which commissioned their creation directly from Guatemalan weavers during the 1980s. Two decades later when they closed their shop doors, I was able to acquire and rescue these woven gems from otherwise uncertain fate.

Today, I'm offering thirty six best sellers and continue to make these sashes available to the public… not only to preserve a noteworthy weaving tradition in Guatemalan textiles but also to bring their functional beauty into your lives.

These new Old Stock fabric sash belts can be used ‘as is’… to jazz up for your gypsy style clothing and bohemian modern wear... for costume statements for theater and reenactment LARP festivals… or for special occasions events such as weddings, fairs and Burning Man too! These hand woven Guatemalan textiles can also be used to make obi sashes or Kimono belts… hat scarves or head bands… guitar or drum straps. Use them as embellishments, decorative trim, valances, house decor… as well as for sewing or other unlimited crafty projects.

Brizel Fiber Arts is a one person business with every aspect handled by me.

Originally inspired and excited by the Mission of Team EFA, Etsy for Animals, I joined this group in 2009 and opened Brizel4TheAnimals to focus this shop on fundraising for animal charity. For 12 years, I donated a minimum of 10% gross sales to a variety of noteworthy animal rescue or animal advocacy organizations. Donating part of this shop's profit to animal welfare brought extra meaning to every sale and we thank each client for making that difference possible one purchase at a time.

Now the profits of this shop (now known as Brizel Fiber Arts) helps to fund and provide sunflower seed & organic cracked corn for the critters of Thompson Creek Forest. This habitat along with it's critters have been impacted by local logging, wildfires and smoke... in order to compensate we nurture the critters that live locally every morning with fresh pools of drinking water and wholesome natural treats. Thank you for your support which makes it possible to do this.

I provide excellent customer service, effective communication, quality product, fabulous packing, and fast ship out time… If you'd like, please check my feedback to see what clients have to say about that! Thank you for your patronage!

PLEASE NOTE: as per my Shop Policies, all sales are final. If you have any concerns or questions about a product- pls address them *before* you make a purchase to make sure they meet your requirements. I'm so sorry but items may not be returned due to a change of heart or mind.
